Back Pain Vomiting Diarrhea

Back Pain Vomiting Diarrhea
Vomiting, diarrhea, headache, limb pain, chills and sweats, no fever, no sore throat. The swine flu?

Son myself and my 3 years are both recovering from being really sick, my son had it first appeared last 48 hours, 4 days later I got it, I'm recovering. The disease include severe stomach pains, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, sensitivity to light and sound limb pain, chills and sweats, I was very weak and could barely stand. I'm almost better, just weak and sore. None of us suffered a cut throat or nose runny or high temperature, but my son has been left with a slight cough. Did we have the swine flu?

Contrary to what two people said, there is no such thing as the stomach flu. Influenza is a respiratory infection, not a stomach or intestinal tract. The incubation period of swine influenza is 2-4 days and lasts from 7-10. Technically, it can be diagnosed based on symptoms. A specific blood test is needed to confirm a diagnosis. Fever is a symptom key hallmark of all flus are some other conditions. Instead of having had swine flu or any kind of flu, which sounds more like you and your child could have suffered gastroenteritis, which can last from 1 to 10 days depending on the virus or bacteria involved. Although the incubation period is usually 1-3 days, this can vary from person to person and is not shocking that a person gets sick and another succumbed a week later. I hope his persistent cough may be something to do with irritation the throat of vomiting.
